Every month we honor a member who has gone above and beyond. This month it is Tobias, a shy black cat who last Thursday did something no one at the cooperative has done in recent memory. He went behind the fridge.
He was gone for nine hours. When he came out he was covered in dust, holding a bottle cap, and he had a thousand yard stare. He said, ‘It is bigger back there than you think.’ Then he went to bed for two days.
Tobias receives a free night at the Hostel Under The Stairs and a commemorative bottle cap. We have also installed a small sign near the fridge. It says ‘Tobias was here.’
