Autumn Itineraries: Leaves, Draughts, And The Crinkle Bag

Autumn is the most underrated travel season, and I am here to prove it. Day one: visit the backyard leaf piles. Roll in them until you are part of the landscape. Day two: investigate every draught in the house and rate them by how much they ruffle your fur.

Day three is the highlight, a pilgrimage to the Crinkle Bag. It sits in the pantry, glowing faintly, and it makes the most beautiful sound. Climb inside. Do not come out for a while. The sound will follow you for the rest of your life.

Total cost for the itinerary is 6 sardines, plus whatever it costs to get the bag off your head.
